Why Samskruthi

Kerala is a state where there are public schools in every ward of a Grama Panchayath. Here the public educational system is efficient and there are committed and sincere stakeholders who support this system. Even then, in this era of exponential social changes the educational systems must adopt and adhere with latest technologies, policies and visions. The deteriorating value system of the society is a factor of serious concern. The need for developing efficient linguistic skills in the early ages, development of scientific attitude, Focus and Self-Control, Perspective Taking,  Critical thinking and analysis, Initiative attitude, Leadership and social influence, Resilience, stress tolerance and flexibility, Reasoning, problem-solving and ideation are some of the skills very much needed for the present generation.

Samskrutrhi believe that schools must provide modern education imparting and instigating above skills along with preserving of our heritage. Hence the school curriculum is based on four pillars.

  • Everything at Samskruthi is planned and executed such that, the interest of child comes first.
  • Where ever possible curriculum transaction is through experiential learning
  • Values are the seeds from which attitudes are bloomed. So value embedded education is given at most importance in Samskruthi
  • A positive attitude towards discipline must be developed among children. Hence school rules and guidelines are strictly followed by everyone associated with Samskruthi.

Vision and Mission

Education in the broadest sense is to increase one’s understanding of the world as a result of training, study or experience. It has to prepare the mind and body to accept challenges. While it is an ongoing process all through one’s life, structured academic learning constitutes an important aspect. This has to happen early, particularly in the competitive world of today.

Many educational goals are universal: however, the form of education as well as its content may vary with time and place. Education of any kind whether structured or informal involves transmition of beliefs, values and customs of a particular society to its younger members.

Samskruthi accepts and abides by the educational goals and objectives formulated in the National Curriculum 2000. We also understand the need for the acceptance of our heritage and value systems. Samskruthi gives due attention to our mother tongue, Malayalam.

The Vision of Samskruthi can be summarized as:

  • Strong impetus to personality development
  • Deep understanding of our cultural heritage
  • Foster scientific thinking
  • Equip the younger generation to go with rapidly advancing science and technology
  • Prepare the children to be positively sensitive to the issues of the society

Ideology:

            Sathyameva Jayathe

Free education to the most deserved

Totally secular in every aspect

Respect all faiths, religions and philosophies

Support the needy in every possible way
